Please read these terms carefully before using this website or making a booking. By accessing gennhotels.com, browsing it, viewing its content, or using any of its features, you accept these Terms of Use in full. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
GENN ECO HOTEL S.A.S., a Colombian company identified with tax ID (NIT) 901.840.159-4 and domiciled at Kilometer 37 of the Santa Marta – Riohacha road, Santa Marta, Colombia (“Genn Hotels,” “we”), owns and operates the website gennhotels.com and its subdomains (the “Site”), through which it presents its hotels Genn Tayrona and Playa la Roca By Genn and its Genn Weddings and Genn Wellness lines.
We may modify these terms at any time. The version in force is always the one published on the Site with its update date, and continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance. If there is any discrepancy between the Spanish version and any translation, the Spanish version prevails.
The trademarks Genn Hotels, Genn Tayrona, Playa la Roca By Genn, Genn Weddings, and Genn Wellness, the logos, the circular motif, and the other distinctive signs that appear on the Site are the property of Genn Hotels and may not be used without our prior written authorization. Third-party names and logos that may appear belong to their respective owners.
The texts, photographs, videos, illustrations, designs, typefaces, software, and other content of the Site (the “Content”) are the property of Genn Hotels or its licensors and are protected by Colombian law and international treaties on copyright and industrial property.
We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to browse the Site and to reproduce excerpts of its Content for exclusively personal, informational, and non-commercial purposes, provided that you keep the proprietary notices and comply with these terms.
No Content may be modified, distributed, published, or incorporated into another work, publication, or website without the prior written authorization of Genn Hotels.

Genn Hotels may restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Site, in whole or in part and without prior notice, in the event of use contrary to these terms or the law, without prejudice to any applicable legal action.
The Site and its Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” The information published is general and illustrative: photographs and videos show reference settings, and the availability, services, and features of each hotel are confirmed at the time of booking.
We make reasonable efforts to keep the Site up to date, secure, and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions, nor the accuracy or completeness of third-party information linked from it. To the extent permitted by law, Genn Hotels is not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you as a consumer by Law 1480 of 2011 and other applicable Colombian regulations.
You agree to hold Genn Hotels, its partners, directors, staff, and representatives harmless from any claim, damage, penalty, cost, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site contrary to these terms or the law.
Bookings at Genn Tayrona and Playa la Roca By Genn are made through each hotel’s booking engine, operated by a specialized technology provider, or by contacting our team directly. Each booking is governed by the Booking Terms of the corresponding hotel, which are provided to you before confirmation and which regulate rates, payments, cancellations, changes, stay conditions, and house policies.
Rates are expressed in Colombian pesos (COP) and may or may not include taxes and charges as indicated during the booking process. Any conversion to other currencies shown on the Site or in the booking engine is indicative and based on public sources; the amount charged is the one expressed in the hotel’s currency.
Genn Hotels is not responsible for third-party costs related to your trip, such as flights, transfers not arranged with the hotel, insurance, or medical services, unless expressly contracted with us.
The Site contains links to third-party sites and services, such as social networks, video platforms, maps, the booking engine, and messaging channels. They are offered solely for convenience and information. Genn Hotels does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content, products, services, or privacy policies; your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Your use of the Site and the processing of the personal data you provide to us are governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms and complies with Law 1581 of 2012 and its regulations.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute arising from the use of the Site will be submitted to the competent courts of Colombia, without prejudice to the consumer-protection mechanisms before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
Communications and acceptances made electronically through the Site are fully valid under Law 527 of 1999.
If any provision of these terms is declared void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain valid. The fact that Genn Hotels does not at any given time demand compliance with a provision does not imply a waiver of the right to do so later. You may not assign the rights or obligations arising from these terms without our authorization. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Booking Terms of each hotel, constitute the entire agreement between you and Genn Hotels regarding the use of the Site.
